The Arnhem show

I'm such a lucky one!!! Last week was my birthday and I got a lot of money to buy something nice for myself. Well....you don't have to say that twice so I had a big budget for the miniatureshow in Arnhem yesterday.
There were so many beautifull miniatures to admire!!!! I had a great day and went home with lots of minis and inspiration.
This are the beauties I bought yesterday.
Lots of kits ( a few one of Sylvia, I love them), some leather for shoes and bags, flowerkits and a knitting kit and a artdeco lamp.

I'm busy with......

At the moment I'm working on a new floor for my brocanteshop. I didn't like the floor that I made so I'm changing it into a wooden floor. I found a really beautiful design somewere in a onlinshop. With the help of a workshop from Josje I'm making a floor that ( I hope ) will be just what I want :-)
The photo shows how it will look like when it's finished. This is a first impression.




I'm also busy knitting a little jacket. This is not easy but so much fun!!! You can see the jacket grow on the needle. I have to be very careful though!!! It already slid of the needle once!!!

Troetels

At the moment we get 'troetels' as we go shopping in our supermarket. Troetel is a dutch word for pet. We get one with every €15,- we spend. With a family of 4 there are a lot of them in a few weeks. Here's a picture of a few of them. I give most of them away because the children love them.




But of course I keep a few for myself. They make sweet little miniatures!!!

I'm back

It's strange how things can work out. My computer is back again. I only lost a few things. Nothing important. ( Thank you for asking Jollie) So within a week and a half I had a running computer again. But I had a totall lack of inspiration. I had a good book to read so I spend most of my time on the couch LOL. In the last month I mananged to make a few mini's though. Hopefully spring will start soon here because I'm really in need of the sun!!
